Bio

Trio Solaire comprises Sorin Spasinovici on viola, Roxana Popescu on flute, and harpist Leonor Maia. The three musicians joined forces in 2015, while studying at the Zurich University of the Arts, drawing inspiration from Debussy’s masterpiece Sonata for flute, viola and harp. They are rapidly expanding their repertoire, exploring a wide range of styles, from Impressionism classics to contemporary works. The three musicians are also performing exciting transcriptions of beloved classical works arranged by the Trio’s violist Sorin Spasinovici.

They have performed in many cities in Switzerland, as well as in Bucharest, Romania and Salzburg, Austria.
